  3. Title: Bad Kitty Gets a Bath

    Author: Nick Bruel

In bad kitty takes a bath it tells you why cats hate baths and how to give a cat a bath. Even though cats clean them self’s you need to clean them time to time. It also lists the materials that you need to give a cat a bath. Also it list things like Bandages, Armor, and a phone with the hospital on speed dial, and things like that. I like it because it compares a cat’s bath to a dog’s bath.

I liked this book because it was very funny. It is kind of a mystery but more of a tall tale. I give it a 9 out of 10. This book makes you laugh out loud.

  5. A Tale Dark & Grim
    By:Adam Gidwitz
    Pages:256 (2 books)

This book is really creepy but in a good way. It is like 9 books in one, crazy right? Well the to main people are Hansel and Gretel it is like a lesson to. Why you say because it has like weird things going on and powers but you really dont relize its a lesson (but still a fairy tale). Hansel and Gretels parents did something they did not like so they ran away and did something crazy. I can not tell you though because you have to read it.

  6. Title: Parzival
    Author: Katherine Paterson

I chose the book Parzival because I wanted to read a medieval story. It is about a Prince who becomes a knight and serves the people. He fought Sir Clamide and won the Princess' honor. Later, he married the Princess and he was crowned King.
I give this book 4.5 stars out of 5 for the medieval grammar and all of the details. This book was written so differently that I cannot compare it to any other books I have read. I would change this book by having the Prince return to King Arthur's Court at the end after he married the Princess.

The teacher of room 26 told Humphrey something very imprtant when he was brought. She said, "you can learn alot about life by observing another species. In addition to his class room, each weekend Humphrey gets to have a sleep over with a lucky student. Some time in the school year Humphrey learns to read, write, and even shoot rubber bands, but he only shoots rubber bands in self defence. Humphrey has a good life. Well, it was good until he finds out his teacher is out to get him.

    A Bear Called Paddington
    Author: Michael Bond

This book was very funny. It was about a bear who was at a station called Paddington. Mr. and Mrs. Brown found him in a corner. They asked if he wanted to come home with them. He said yes and they named him Paddington. The couple decided to get him clothes at the mall the next day. Since it was his first time, he got into a little bit of trouble. He went down an escalator and couldn't find Mrs. Brown so he stopped the escalator. The investigator told him to stop messing around. He was let off the hook and he got a new coat. At the end, they celebrated his "1st" Birthday. I really liked this story and give it 5 stars!

    American Tall Tales
    Michael McCurdy

This book had some wierd stories in it. My favorite story was Johnny Appleseed. Of course you know the story, so I'm going to tell you about my second favorite. The boy in the story was born and his mother said he was part wolf, part horse, and part human. One day he was walking through the woods and he came along a ginormous puma. The puma roared so load it made all the trees in the woods shake. The boy could do the same thing. He tackled the giant puma and told him to stop eating other innocent animals. It was said that the puma was at his side for the rest of his life.

I like this book and I give it 4 stars!

  13. Title:Charlotte's Web
    Author:E.B. White

This book is about a pig named Wilbur who meets a spider named Charlotte, who soon becomes his friend. The pig was endangered of being slaughtered, but Charlotte used fancy words like terrific, and radiant to expressed Wilbur's importance. One event in the story was when Wilbur and his family, including Charlotte, went to the fair and while he was there he won a ribbon on being the most talented pig. While at the fair Wilbur received a gift from Charlotte that he brought home when he left.
I like this fable because there are two lessons included in this story, friendship and teamwork. These morals are important because they are what helps build a strong community.I rate this book 4*5 stars because I think these lessons should be taught to kids to be passed on from generations forward.

    The Golden Hoard
    Author: Geraldine McCaughrean

This book has very interesting stories. My favorite is about a king who falls asleep by a river. In his dream, there is a princess sitting in a chair of red gold. When he awakes, he thinks its reality. When his guards tell him it is not, he doesn't eat or sleep for a few months. He has an idea to try and find his princess. So he tells his guards to find her. They can't find her so the king sets off himself. He searches high and low and finally finds his dream princess.

I liked this book and I give it 4 stars!
