In A Tale Dark and Grimm two children named Hansel and Gretel, you might know them, go on a mysterious journey to find nice parents. Along the way some pretty weird things happen to these weird children. I like how the author sometimes had bold letters with him talking to the reader. It kept me entertained and wanted to read on and on. I was so surprised by the ending which made me I was so surprised by the ending which made me like the book even more.
I rate this book definitely a FIVE STARS !!!!!!!!!!
This book reminds me of the book hanale and grettle. I would of done nothing to the book because it is great the way it is. I would of gave this book a 10 stars. THis book was verry differt from the tales I herd some chapters where pretty scary.
Its a book about love, hate. This book is about a boy and a girl that get their heads choped off and run away from home.They meet lots of crazy people along the way.They finally decid that they want to go home.When they get home they found out thereis dragon on the lose.They try to kill it but it killed haif of their army.They found out the dragon was their father and they chop his head off.

Author.Adam Gitwits Title.A Tale Dark And Grimm This book holds many stories of the life of Hansel and Gretel.One story a witch met them,and then they get lost.Hansel had gotten tosee and meet the devil.Gretel met and almost became best freinds with a murderer.On a scale of 1 to 10 this would be an 11.I must warn you though if you read this book to younger children then you will be up all night with a scared child.
This book is about a mouse named, Tucker, he lived in Time Square.I would give this book a 3 out of 5 because it did not saprize me.I woud give this book to someone who likes going places in books. I would of changed the way the book was liked made more unexpecting parts. I in joyed the illustrations because the where very butiful.

If you like blood and awesome fairy tales then this is the right book for you.

This book is about a kid named Harry he is a prince. He was not a big fan of being rich or his parents the King and Queen. The king said to Harry one day that he needs someone to make him more like a knight. The king hired a knight named Sir Bedwetter. Sir Bedwetter did not like Harry. Harry would always play pranks on him and one day Sir Bedwetter gave up and quit. The king got really mad at Harry so the king hired a new knight named Sir Fartsalot to make Harry a knight. Sir Fartsalot is not very smart. He got his name from the foul west wind which is him. I can't tell you what the west wind was because it's a spoiler. When the new knight gets there he heard a scream coming from the moat Sir Bedwetter saves a boy from the moat monster. The boys mother tells him that he has a booger on his face, but he doesn't understand and thinks the mother is calling the moat monster a booger. Harry and Sir Fartsalot travel around the kingdom in search of The Booger.
I give this book a 10 because it was a very good book and very funny book.
A story of Hansel and Gretal, become bloddier and violent. Which is the true tale of these two fairy tale kids. I recommend this book for people that like thrills and adventure. There is violence, so its not for little kids. The story will keep you reading because it keeps getting better and has a chapter that seems like its not meant for kids my age.
I rate this a 5 star book. The highest rating for a book I have ever read.
Title: The Magic Tree House Dragon of the Red Dawn Author: This book was about Jack and Annie. They meet a person named Basho. They are best friends through the entire book. Together they battle a dragon that is said to control the clouds. There was a terrible draught and a fire started.
I give this book a 4 star rating. It was pretty good but I didnt like is that it didnt give a lot of detail about Basheo and where he came from.
I recommend this book to others if they like fairy tales and enjoy dragons and battles.
The Title Atale dark and grimm. By Adam Gidwitz. This sti=ory is about 2 little kids Hansel and Gretal go on a journey to find some nice parents. In this story Gretal cuts off her finger and stick it in a keyhole.They go in the woods and a Dragon on the cover attacks them and he takes 9 barrels of wine and drinkes it and the Dragon was drunk.Hansal had a cart of golden apples to lure the Dragon in the woods to kill it. The Dragon ran with 2 toes when they tried to kill the Dragon.I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I rate this book 5 stars out of a 5 because of the great detail and illustrations. There were 2 illustrations in each chapter which were colorful and beautiful. I relate this book to other disney fairy books which I have read. This book kept my attention!

In the beginning of the story, their parents had a servant. His name was Faithful Johannes. They call him faithful because everybody knows that they can trust him no matter what. Now, they have a son. He becomes the new king. They tell Johannes to not show a specific room. In that room, was a picture of a golden princess that he would fall madly in love with her. Now it's up to you to figure out if Faithful Johannes will keep his word and not show the new king.

This book has many interesting stories of the real hansel and gretel storeis. My favorite story they told was A smile as red as blood.It was my favorite because it had some reaaly cool things in it.It was scary tords the beginning but it turend out really good.At first grettle has no one on till she meets a handsome young man.If I had to give it a star rating from 1-10 I would definitly give it a 10 because like i said earlyer its a cool and interesting book.
This book was about a garden fairy named Lily who wandered into the forest and found an unknown seed. When Lily planted the unknown seed it grew fast into a a big, brown, stinky plant. Half of the other fairies wanted to get rid of the plant. Finally, a fairy named Iris found that the plant is an Ever tree with very delicious fruit. So, they kept the plant to eat. I rate this book five out of five stars because of the creative details. I would change this book by telling all of the stuff they added to Lily's gardening book.

Like a witch steals Hansel and Gretel.Also Hansel and Gretel fight a dragon.Hansel and Gretel find out who the dragon is and win something at the end.
I chose this book because it looked fun, creative,and magical. I rate this book 4 stars for being inspiring and adventurist throughout the book. I only gave this book 4 stars because detail in the end of the book. To make this book better I would have told if Tink fixed the bathtub and if Tink and Peter made up. I compare this book to Lily and the Pesky Plant. Lily and Tink both face a challenge and overcome the problem. When Tink lost her hammer everyone in Pixy Hollow except for Terrence thought she lost her talent. Terrence had hope! We need to always have hope in our life!
I chose this book because it was the last book in my set. I rate this book 4 and a half stars. I rated this book because of detail and creativity. To make this book better I would have included if they got the hummingbird nest back. I compare this book to all of the fairy books in this series. They all have different stories to tell and each book adds another character(fairy). This book is about when fairy Beck is hit by a falling berry. Beck is told that there has been a war going on over a hummingbird's nest going missing. It turns out that it was all a misunderstanding. Grandfather mole had thought the nest was a hat so the chipmunks did not steal it like they thought.

When Despereaux goes to school he and his friends play a dangerous game that is againest the mouse rules and he reeads the books not chew on the book.In the end the mice became a brave little army of little mice, princess pea makes mig (her old servent) a tiara,and Roscuro (the rat who save the princess with Despereaux) goes back to sea like in the beginning and every thing is a little same and some a little different.Lesson #77 Forgiveness is the most important thing for friendship .
If I give this book a rating it will be a 5 out of 5 stars because of the honor ,the courgae,and the way this way of help was in this book. Well don't forget the they lived happily ever after............. but whats fun with that!
This book was about seven different kind of fairy tales in one book. My favorite two are the fir tree, ugly duckling, and the . The fir tree was about this little tree who sat in the middle of the forest with other trees, then each fall someone would come and cut all the trees down but the fir tree was the only one who was sitting in the middle of the feild. Then one year a family came along and saw the lonley tree and brought it home. Then magicaly during the night grew into a christmas tree. The ugly duckling was about a mom swan that was having babies, while she was sitting on them she had gotton really upset that her baby eggs would not crack. So then that afternoon she had all of her baby ducklings but one. Then later that night the other egg opened and was not as pretty as the others. I am going to give this book a 4 out of 5 because not all the book was intrusting. You have to remember they start with once upon a time!
This book is about a fairy tale but a very, very, different fairy tale. In this book the main people are Hansel and Gretle and they both run in to weird things. All there tying to do is get back to were there parents are and i do have to say I dont think any person would do what Hansel and Gretle do, not even on one of those crazy tv shows like FEAR FACTOR. Any ways if I were you and you wanted to read this book I would be careful because there are some creepy weird gross things in this book but I give it a 8 out of 10 star rateing.

This book os about a little girl whos parents were kidnaped when she was small. The only clue the kidnaper gave them was blood hand prints. The hand prints were on the dashboard and almost everywere you looked and then the girl goes somewere or it just might be a dream but you have to find out by reading the book. But if I had to star rate this book I would give it a 7 out of 10.

Minli hears about the old man of the moon in a story told by her Ba. The Old Man Of The Moon can anwser any question. Minli wants to ask him how to change her fourtune. She goes on many adventures and meets new friends.She also heres more stories she loves stories. I loved the book so much I just could not put it down.
This book is a fairytale about Hansel and Gretel but told in a more heroic way. To escape their parents Hansel and Gretel run away. The children fought witches, hunters, and demons. They get separated but they later find each other. They soon return home and face a great danger for their city. I would give this book a five star rating because it was adventurous and I would read this book again.
Before we get started talking about the book, on a scale 1-10 I rate this book a 10. Yeah, it was that good. In the beginning of this book, there are two kids in high school ( boy & girl) that live with their parents in a average home. Well, one night a black van pulls up to there house, and men wearing gray uniforms come out of it. Wisty ,the girl in the house, watches the whole thing from her window, and she decides she should tell her mom about the men and the van. While she walks towards her mom’s door, the men in uniforms knock down her front door and run up stairs. The men claim that Wisty is a witch and Whit, the boy, is a wizard. So they take them from their parents and hand-cuff them in the van. While reading this book you will find out some magical powers that wisty and Whit have.

She was crying because she always made the large water jet that goes to the very top of the Fairy Dance fountain and since she had no wings she couldn't. This year Humidia was doing it. The other fairies had to find another talent for Rani. Cruel Vidia made Rani feel very bad about not having wings and made her cry. Rani ran away and tried to fit in every where she went. Will she find out where she belongs?
This book is about a boy and a girl Hansel and Gretel and how they go through life after running away at an early age. Then they meet an old woman that tries to eat them but they get away so they keep on walking. So they meet a family of 8 and the parents go send their other children to get wash water. They never return so they set out to find them once Hansel and Gretel get to where they are they find out they lost the key. It is night so they go to sleep when they wake up Gretel finds out that the key hole is big as a finger so Gretel feels so bad she cuts off her finger and opens the door. The 6 children return to their mom and dad but Hansel and Gretel go live in the woods and in the woods Hansel turns in to a werewolf and Hansel gets taken away. Then Gretel goes to a village and finds Hansel they find out their mom and dad are in the village and they go to see them. When their mom and dad tell them there is a dragon Hansel and Gretel fight it and they win. I would give the book a 5 star rating I hope you like it too.
This book has seven fairy tales in it. My favorite story was The Ugly Duckling. In this story there is a mother duck and she is tired of sitting on her eggs. Her eggs start to hatch and she gets so excited! There is still one big egg left and she gets angry because it won't hatch. But as she is thinking the egg starts to break! She is thrilled and she wants to go swimming. She notices how big the duckling is and it doesn't bother her. Other ducks make fun of him, even his siblings. Soon his mom starts hating him. So he runs off! There is more to the story but I am not going to tell you. This is a good book and I give this book 5 stars!!

Well first of all Simon can't find his cat so he goes outside to look for him but something strange happens something is attacking simon but nothing is there. Then he dissapears. So Jarred and Mallory go into the woods to look for him.They see some strange things on the waya troll in the water. When they find Simon he is locked up in a cage because the Gobblins took him.will they get away or will they be the next Gobblin meal? I give this book a five out of five star rating.
This book is awesome it tales the tale of hansel and gretle. Also the story of greatful johanns. This book gets off topick to explan to you whats going on at that time. One f my favorite times in the book is when gretle was fighting the dragon and the moon. I`ll tell you why they ran away the ranaya because there fauther had cut of there heads so they felt like they wernt loved anymore. So threw out the story they splet up and get back togther. I give this book a five stars. YOU should read it.
This book is about A king and a queen that have kids that are twins and there names are Hansel and Gretel. The king has a statue of jhohannes who is dead and it tells them to cut off your childrens heads to revive me. So the king gets his sword and cuts off their heads and jhonnes comes back to life and heals Hansel and Gretal. That night Hansel and Gretal got mad that there dad would really cut there heads off for a wierd lookin guy. Soon they ran away to look for better parents. On there way some of them try to kill them. Thsi book was a book full of stories but the largest one in it is the story of Goldilocks. Alot of you know this as a children story frow when you were about four through six. What I wanted to do is visit my childhood time and read one of my favorite stories.Like alot you know Goldilocks went in their house and ate the pourage, sat in the chairs, and slept in beds but I wanted to read this story over to remember how much fun I had. If you have not read this book already you need to get this book in your hands right now. If you are interested in other fairy tales this book has that also. I rate this book a five out of five stars. Hoefully you read this book.

But something happens in their childhood that makes them run away from their family. Their names are Hansel and Gretel and they go to many different families but this one family had 7 sons all ready. Hansel and Gretel feel bad and go find them and they come to a lake and find a key to a chamber they get there really late and they lost the key so they go to sleep. The next day Gretel sees that the key hole is as big as her finger so she cuts off her finger and uses it as a key it worked and 7 blue jays fly home. After that they go live in the woods and Hansel changes and starts turning in to a werewolf and a King almost kills him and Hansel lives with him for some time and then leaves to find Gretel. Before he finds her he has this adventure in the underworld and makes things a lot better in the world they find each other and they find their parents too. ReplyDeleteThis book is about Tink in search of pixie dust to give her friend, Terence. It was better than most Disney books I have read.
I give this book a 4 because it kept me wondering what would happen next. It kept me reading and I finished the book in only 3 days.
The book could be longer and include more details. I would read more books from this collection.

This book is about a kid named Harry he is a prince. He was not a big fan of being rich or his parents the King and Queen. The king said to Harry one day that he needs someone to make him more like a knight. The king hired a knight named Sir Bedwetter. Sir Bedwetter did not like Harry. Harry would always play pranks on him and one day Sir Bedwetter gave up and quit. The king got really mad at Harry so the king hired a new knight named Sir Fartsalot to make Harry a knight. Sir Fartsalot is not very smart. He got his name from the foul west wind which is him. I can't tell you what the west wind was because it's a spoiler. When the new knight gets there he heard a scream coming from the moat Sir Bedwetter saves a boy from the moat monster. The boys mother tells him that he has a booger on his face, but he doesn't understand and thinks the mother is calling the moat monster a booger. Harry and Sir Fartsalot travel around the kingdom in search of The Booger.
I give this book a 10 because it was a very good book and very funny

A story of Hansel and Gretal, become bloddier and violent. Which is the true tale of these two fairy tale kids. I recommend this book for people that like thrills and adventure. There is violence, so its not for little kids. The story will keep you reading because it keeps getting better and has a chapter that seems like its not meant for kids my age.
I rate this a 5 star book. The highest rating for a book I have ever read.

This book was about Jack and Annie. They meet a person named Basho. They are best friends through the entire book. Together they battle a dragon that is said to control the clouds. There was a terrible draught and a fire started.
I give this book a 4 star rating. It was pretty good but I didnt like is that it didnt give a lot of detail about Basheo and where he came from.
I recommend this book to others if they like fairy tales and enjoy dragons and battles.

This sti=ory is about 2 little kids Hansel and Gretal go on a journey to find some nice parents. In this story Gretal cuts off her finger and stick it in a keyhole.They go in the woods and a Dragon on the cover attacks them and he takes 9 barrels of wine and drinkes it and the Dragon was drunk.Hansal had a cart of golden apples to lure the Dragon in the woods to kill it. The Dragon ran with 2 toes when they tried to kill the Dragon.I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

This book is a very good book.This is a remix of Hansel and Gretal.I was scared of this book a little becauase Greatle cuts off her finger and heads getting cut off thats a little scary.Also they go on a journey to the land dark and grimm Hansel and Greatle are the prince and princess of the land dark and Grimm.There is alot of blood in this story so if you like blood then this is your book.I give this book a 9 out of 10 stars

This book is about when Queen Ree's crown goes from getting repaired to almost getting washed away. But in the end everything ends well. I rate this book 5 stars out of a 5 because of the great detail and illustrations. There were 2 illustrations in each chapter which were colorful and beautiful. I relate this book to other disney fairy books which I have read. This book kept my attention!

This book is a very scary version of Hansel and Gretel. Now, I know you might be thinking that it's probably very easy to make it scary. Well, it is. In the beginning of the story, their parents had a servant. His name was Faithful Johannes. They call him faithful because everybody knows that they can trust him no matter what. Now, they have a son. He becomes the new king. They tell Johannes to not show a specific room. In that room, was a picture of a golden princess that he would fall madly in love with her. Now it's up to you to figure out if Faithful Johannes will keep his word and not show the new king.

had to give it a star rating from 1-10 I would definitly give it a 10 because like i said earlyer its a cool and interesting book.

ReplyDeleteThis book was about a garden fairy named Lily who wandered into the forest and found an unknown seed. When Lily planted the unknown seed it grew fast into a a big, brown, stinky plant. Half of the other fairies wanted to get rid of the plant. Finally, a fairy named Iris found that the plant is an Ever tree with very delicious fruit. So, they kept the plant to eat. I rate this book five out of five stars because of the creative details. I would change this book by telling all of the stuff they added to Lily's gardening book.

ReplyDeleteI chose this book because it looked fun, creative,and magical. I rate this book 4 stars for being inspiring and adventurist throughout the book. I only gave this book 4 stars because detail in the end of the book. To make this book better I would have told if Tink fixed the bathtub and if Tink and Peter made up. I compare this book to Lily and the Pesky Plant. Lily and Tink both face a challenge and overcome the problem. When Tink lost her hammer everyone in Pixy Hollow except for Terrence thought she lost her talent. Terrence had hope! We need to always have hope in our life!

ReplyDeleteI chose this book because it was the last book in my set. I rate this book 4 and a half stars. I rated this book because of detail and creativity. To make this book better I would have included if they got the hummingbird nest back. I compare this book to all of the fairy books in this series. They all have different stories to tell and each book adds another character(fairy). This book is about when fairy Beck is hit by a falling berry. Beck is told that there has been a war going on over a hummingbird's nest going missing. It turns out that it was all a misunderstanding. Grandfather mole had thought the nest was a hat so the chipmunks did not steal it like they thought.

When Despereaux goes to school he and his friends play a dangerous game that is againest the mouse rules and he reeads the books not chew on the book.In the end the mice became a brave little army of little mice, princess pea makes mig (her old servent) a tiara,and Roscuro (the rat who save the princess with Despereaux) goes back to sea like in the beginning and every thing is a little same and some a little different.Lesson #77 Forgiveness is the most important thing for friendship .
If I give this book a rating it will be a 5 out of 5 stars because of the honor ,the courgae,and the way this way of help was in this book. Well don't forget the they lived happily ever after............. but whats fun with that!

This book was about seven different kind of fairy tales in one book. My favorite two are the fir tree, ugly duckling, and the . The fir tree was about this little tree who sat in the middle of the forest with other trees, then each fall someone would come and cut all the trees down but the fir tree was the only one who was sitting in the middle of the feild. Then one year a family came along and saw the lonley tree and brought it home. Then magicaly during the night grew into a christmas tree. The ugly duckling was about a mom swan that was having babies, while she was sitting on them she had gotton really upset that her baby eggs would not crack. So then that afternoon she had all of her baby ducklings but one. Then later that night the other egg opened and was not as pretty as the others. I am going to give this book a 4 out of 5 because not all the book was intrusting. You have to remember they start with once upon a time!

This book is about a fairy tale but a very, very, different fairy tale. In this book the main people are Hansel and Gretle and they both run in to weird things. All there tying to do is get back to were there parents are and i do have to say I dont think any person would do what Hansel and Gretle do, not even on one of those crazy tv shows like FEAR FACTOR. Any ways if I were you and you wanted to read this book I would be careful because there are some creepy weird gross things in this book but I give it a 8 out of 10 star rateing.

This book os about a little girl whos parents were kidnaped when she was small. The only clue the kidnaper gave them was blood hand prints. The hand prints were on the dashboard and almost everywere you looked and then the girl goes somewere or it just might be a dream but you have to find out by reading the book. But if I had to star rate this book I would give it a 7 out of 10.

This book is a fairytale about Hansel and Gretel but told in a more heroic way. To escape their parents Hansel and Gretel run away. The children fought witches, hunters, and demons. They get separated but they later find each other. They soon return home and face a great danger for their city. I would give this book a five star rating because it was adventurous and I would read this book again.

Before we get started talking about the book, on a scale 1-10 I rate this book a 10. Yeah, it was that good. In the beginning of this book, there are two kids in high school ( boy & girl) that live with their parents in a average home. Well, one night a black van pulls up to there house, and men wearing gray uniforms come out of it. Wisty ,the girl in the house, watches the whole thing from her window, and she decides she should tell her mom about the men and the van. While she walks towards her mom’s door, the men in uniforms knock down her front door and run up stairs. The men claim that Wisty is a witch and Whit, the boy, is a wizard. So they take them from their parents and hand-cuff them in the van. While reading this book you will find out some magical powers that wisty and Whit have.

Rani walked to Tinker Bells workshop, she couldn't fly because she cut off her wings in order to save Never Land, Rani was very upset and started to cry. She was crying because she always made the large water jet that goes to the very top of the Fairy Dance fountain and since she had no wings she couldn't. This year Humidia was doing it. The other fairies had to find another talent for Rani. Cruel Vidia made Rani feel very bad about not having wings and made her cry. Rani ran away and tried to fit in every where she went. Will she find out where she belongs?

through life after running away at an early age. Then they meet an old
woman that tries to eat them but they get away so they keep on walking.
So they meet a family of 8 and the parents go send their other children
to get wash water. They never return so they set out to find them once
Hansel and Gretel get to where they are they find out they lost the
key. It is night so they go to sleep when they wake up Gretel finds out
that the key hole is big as a finger so Gretel feels so bad she cuts
off her finger and opens the door. The 6 children return to their mom
and dad but Hansel and Gretel go live in the woods and in the woods
Hansel turns in to a werewolf and Hansel gets taken away. Then Gretel
goes to a village and finds Hansel they find out their mom and dad are
in the village and they go to see them. When their mom and dad tell
them there is a dragon Hansel and Gretel fight it and they win. I would
give the book a 5 star rating I hope you like it too.

This book has seven fairy tales in it. My favorite story was The Ugly Duckling. In this story there is a mother duck and she is tired of sitting on her eggs. Her eggs start to hatch and she gets so excited! There is still one big egg left and she gets angry because it won't hatch. But as she is thinking the egg starts to break! She is thrilled and she wants to go swimming. She notices how big the duckling is and it doesn't bother her. Other ducks make fun of him, even his siblings. Soon his mom starts hating him. So he runs off! There is more to the story but I am not going to tell you. This is a good book and I give this book 5 stars!!

When they find Simon he is locked up in a cage because the Gobblins took him.will they get away or will they be the next Gobblin meal? I give this book a five out of five star rating.

This book is awesome it tales the tale of hansel and gretle. Also the story of greatful johanns. This book gets off topick to explan to you whats going on at that time. One f my favorite times in the book is when gretle was fighting the dragon and the moon. I`ll tell you why they ran away the ranaya because there fauther had cut of there heads so they felt like they wernt loved anymore.
So threw out the story they splet up and get back togther.
I give this book a five stars.

The king has a statue of jhohannes who is dead and it tells them to cut off your childrens heads to revive me. So the king gets his sword and cuts off their heads and jhonnes comes back to life and heals Hansel and Gretal. That night Hansel and Gretal got mad that there dad would really cut there heads off for a wierd lookin guy. Soon they ran away to look for better parents. On there way some of them try to kill them. I honestly think you should read this book. I give this book a 10 out of 10.

this book is a bout many diffrent fairy tales but with a little twist.this book is much better it is filled with tons of action packed stories.hanstle and greatle are brother and sister they are the main charactors.alot of horific things that you cannot imagine happens to two little kids.first they got thier heads cut off and died. then came back to life.after that grettle meets a guy who kills. then hansle made a deal to the devil and went to u know where. grettle gets her finger cut off.hansle had to pretend to be the divils grandma and pluck three goldon hairs .finally they returned home and faught a dragon . i rate this book a 50 star rateing out of 20

Thsi book was a book full of stories but the largest one in it is the story of Goldilocks. Alot of you know this as a children story frow when you were about four through six. What I wanted to do is visit my childhood time and read one of my favorite stories.Like alot you know Goldilocks went in their house and ate the pourage, sat in the chairs, and slept in beds but I wanted to read this story over to remember how much fun I had. If you have not read this book already you need to get this book in your hands right now. If you are interested in other fairy tales this book has that also. I rate this book a five out of five stars. Hoefully you read this book.

This book is about a girl and a boy whose parents are a King and a

almost kills him and Hansel lives with him for some time and then
leaves to find Gretel. Before he finds her he has this adventure in the
underworld and makes things a lot better in the world they find each
other and they find their parents too. Then they fight a dragon and win
for their village and live happily ever after.
