  1. Title: Michelle Kwan
    Author: Michelle Kwan

I would rate this book a 5 out of 5 because it has lots of detail like when she fell on the ice. I would have done nothing at all. She gave pictures of herself but she could of put pictures of when she was older. If I was Michelle Kwan I would be scared to ice skate in front of all the people in the stands. The pictures look awsome they have lots of details, and there are some where she is doing a flip(witch I thought was pretty cool!!

I would rate this book a 10 out of 10 stars because it has lots of fun intersting suff that I would of never have gussed it. What I would of done is put more words on a page. Bill could of done something elce but he chose not to but he did. If I was Bill I would never get the job he has now. If you read this book make shure you look at the drawings they are wonderful.

  3. TITTLE:BILL PEET
    AUTHER:BILL PEET

This book gets a 5 for me becauuse I liked it but it was not as cool as i thought it would be.I would have put a little less pics and some more words though. It telll' show he grew up and tell's what he likes and that was the good thing about it . He was a young and good boy too. So on the other hand it was pretty good.

  5. Title: Knots in My Yo-Yo String
    Author: Jerry Spinelli

This book is about a boy named Jerry Spinelli which has a pretty rough life here and there but he gets to play outside whenever but he does relize what is going to happen in his older years. He is eight right now and he likes playing cowboys I don't know if thats wierd for a little boy but he and his friends like cowboys. Once he acutally put on his cowboy and went to school looking like a cowboy. Everybody laughed at him but he did not care he just had fun the rest of the. Then he turns 9 and then thats when he starts he clean freak stage he has to have everythings perfect but it is only his stuff that has to be perfect (not the other kids items his familys stuff) . He does this for a few years then he just does'nt care when he get about in the ninth grade. I would like to tell more but you have to read the book for you to know anymore. I rate this book a 5 out of 5 stars.

  7. Through My Eyes
    By Tim Tebow

In this book, Tim Tebow writes about that he hates the fact that writers have to write about their bad opinions of Tebow. He says when he gets up in the morning and turns on Sportscenter, he sees bad opinions of him and it cuts him to the bone. Tebow grew up as a Christian because his dad was a missionary. He also says that god has helped him in sports a lot, because he is always nervous then he prays to god to take the nervousness of him and help him get through his games. I really don’t want to write much, because If I do then I will spoil the book. I rate this book a 10 out of 10.

  8. Title: Soul Surfer
    Author: Bethany Hamilton

This book is an autobiography written by Bethany Hamilton. She was 14 years old and was a great surfer when she was something terrible happened to her. She was attacked by a 14 foot shark, her left arm was almost completly torn off. This book is about how she was able to come back from that attack, learning how to surf again and do everything again with only one arm. She is a very strong person and in the book said the reason she wrote it is because she wanted to help others. I don't think I could be as strong as her if something bad happened to me like that. This book was really good, I really liked Hawaii and I would love to visit there. Hawaii is where she lived and still does.

  9. Title: Ask Bethany The Soul Surfer
Author: Bethany Hamilton & Doris Rikkers

I chose this book because the cover looked interesting and I had seen the movie. I rate this book 5 stars out of 5 because of the good detail, Bible quotes and true events. I compare this book to Danica Patrick. They are both beautiful outgoing women who do not take no for an answer. Bethany was attacked by a shark at age 16 while she was surfing. She lost her left arm but has continued surfing even though people told her she would not surf again. She believes in God and quotes many Bible verses in this book. Her favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11 and her favorite Bible story is David fighting Goliath.

  10. Triumph on ice
    Tara Lipinski

This book was about a girl who was born on June 10, 1982 who is an Olympic gold medals. In 1884 was when she was watching ice skating and decided that she was going to skate and showed parents by getting a toy bin and standing on top of it at the age of two.She had started skating at the age of three and won the silver medal . One of her favorite moves to do is the layback spin in the 1997 U.S. Nationals. Her two favorite animals are any type of frog and golden retriever dogs that are so big and fluffy.

I had enjoyed this book because of all the different types of things she did during her life time. I'm going to give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 because of her prepreation to do things!

  11. Title:Knots In My Yo Yo String
    Author: Jerry Spinelli

This book is about a kid named Jerry Spinelli's child hood. It all begins with cowboys. Soon it will go to sports like basketball. He would play basketball overe the summer. Sometimes he would go to play little league at the park. On his way he truely finds out what he wants to be a writer. You have to read this book to find out what are the other true accomplishments? I give this a 8 out of 10.

  12. Harriett Tubman the Moses of her People

    by Harriett Tubman

The book I have read Harriett Tubman The Moses of her people was a great book because it was truthful in how it explained things which made it great for me. Because of this I would give it a 4 star rating. I would give it only four stars because it had many quotation marks when Harriett was talking. It sometimes made it hard to read and understand what they are trying to tell me. In this book it explained how Harriett was taught the hard way from the whites. Harriett saved many black people when there were slaves and brought them to the North it is known as The Underground Railroad. This book explains almost everything about Harriett like how she died and things that she was known for such as saving people in the war, going on top secret missions during the war, and not losing a passenger on the Underground Railroad.

  13. Soul Surfer
    by: Bethany Hamiliton

I would give this book a five star rating because in this auto-biography Bethany told her feelings about her life before and after the shark attack. In the book Soul Surfer it was mainly about her, what she does, and her family and friends. Bethany loves to surf and even though she lost an arm she never gave up hope, she put her trust into God and kept surfing. She has a strong relationship with God that was not broken and her friends did as much as they could to help Bethany get better and maybe surf again. Bethany is not one who loves the spot light and even though she got on television she really just wanted to do the activities she use to do.
